Write Congress

ACTION ALERT:

Support Sufficient, Timely and Predictable funding for veterans health care

The VA health care system has suffered from chronically late and inadequate funding for years.  In fact, the VA budget has been late in 13 of the last 14 years.  Congress must pass legislation to assure sufficient, timely and predictable funding for veterans medical care.  S. 2639 / H.R. 2514, the Assured Funding for Veterans Health Care Act, was introduced by Senator Tim Johnson (SD) in the Senate and Congressman Phil Hare (IL-17) in the House.  Enactment of this legislation would provide a guarenteed, ontime stream of funding for veterans health care services.
